The Gallery is OPEN!

Wood, Paper, Clay
on exhibit until July 13th, 2014

With works from over ten local and regional artists, Wood, Paper, Clay  focuses on the three most loved materials at the Garage. Featuring illustrations less than the width of a dime, white elephants, a new outlook on 1960's Playboys, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted tables and cedar adirondack chairs, wood-fired, salt-fired, reduction and raku fired ceramics. Antique furniture, finials, and alaskan yellow cedar planter box and telephone poles accompany original artwork, editioned etchings and relief prints. Combining both the sculptural and functional, modern and traditional, Wood, Paper, Clay invites you to enjoy the Chases lifestyle.

We've got a lot of great exhibits planned for 2014, why don't you take a look at our EXHIBITION & EVENT SCHEDULE for the rest of the year!?

Chases Garage Artist Studios & Gallery
An exhibition, workshop, and creative studio space housed within an over 100 year old auto garage located downtown at Short Sands Beach in York, Maine. Chases is a creative space that allows artists to be productive on their own but encourages learning and collaboration from others.

By providing a versatile working environment for artists and creative professionals year round, Chases Garage Artist Studios & Gallery aims to assemble and support a dynamic artist community. Studio spaces, membership to communal workspaces as well as teaching and exhibition opportunities allow us to
encourage communication between artists and the public.
